If you’re planning a outdoorsy wedding, you’ll love this wedding for inspiration!
When Holly and Pat first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so happy – they were planning a really fun outdoor wedding with an intimate ceremony and ping pong tables, a trampoline and camping for the reception. Holly and Pat are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
The excitement before the wedding
I started at the Barns close by to the wedding reception, where the couple’s friends and family were getting ready, and it was so much fun, because everyone was in a good mood. Holly wore a vintage lace style dress and Pat wore an amazing kilt and they looked really incredible.
The wedding took place at the local church and was an intimate religious ceremony. They had some hymns and some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they had a dramatic first kiss, and then the party began.
The wedding reception took place at a local barn that was owned by family friends, which they’d decorated with lots of fairy lights and bunting and florals. It was so wonderfully personalised.
It was a beautifully sunny day, which was glorious. While the guests played lawn games, the couple mingled and laughed with their friends. My favourite photo from our couple’s session is easily the one of the two of them during golden hour. Check it out below!
During the reception they played lawn games, which went down a storm. For the wedding breakfast they had a buffet, and it was loved by all the guests. Afterwards, there were a few speeches and the Spotify playlist kept the party going all night. They also had campfires and trampolines, which everyone loved.
These two are so much fun and their wedding was an absolute dream, I cannot believe how much fun we had.
