KIRSTY AND IAN’S LUXURY WEDDING WAS A GORGEOUS BLEND OF FINE ART DETAILS AND FUN! THE TWO OF THEM GOT MARRIED AT THE BEAUTIFUL TREFLOYNE MANOR IN TENBY, WEST WALES.
When I first heard about Kirsty and Ian’s got Trefloyne Manor wedding in Tenby, I was so excited – they were planning the most beautiful and stylish wedding with an intimate ceremony, candy floss cocktails and even a dessert table. Kirsty and Ian are the most loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Bride and groom prep
I began the morning at Trefloyne Manor, where the couple and their families were getting ready, and it was so chilled out, because everyone was in a good mood. Kirsty wore a gorgeous Stella York gown and Ian wore a black tux and they both looked so incredible. I think it’s so nice when couples get ready in the same wedding venue because it almost always means we can capture photographs of them both getting ready!
The ceremony
The wedding took place in The Orangery, in Trefloyne Manor, and was a lovely romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful wedding readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. The wedding was such a family focused and heartfelt event. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together and were showered with colourful confetti, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits in and around Tenby town centre.
The reception
The wedding reception took place in The Orangery again. I have to say that The Orangery is literally a Tenby wedding photographers dream! It’s so light, clean and airy, perfect for a couple that are looking for that fine art wedding style! They decorated Trefloyne Manor with gorgeous fine art styled details. They went for an elegant theme of whites and foliage, which matched the light and airy feel perfectly. They also had some gorgeous hand painted gold perspex signage and don’t get me started on the incredible dessert table! It was all so beautiful.
It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect for photos. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the city doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our wander around the city is of the two of them over looking Tenby beach, where Kirsty used to visit as a child.
During the reception they had a cocktail drinks reception, which everyone loved. Especially the candy floss Prosecco! For the wedding breakfast they had proper wedding grub, and it was absolutely delicious. After the wedding breakfast they had some wonderful speeches, then the band kicked off the party and everyone hit the dancefloor.
