Dineo and Dan got married at the beautiful Blackwell Grange, in the Cotswolds. It was a super fun relaxed wedding, with STUNNING flowers everywhere, a beautiful colour scheme and a Polaroid guest book to keep guests entertained. Blackwell Grange is such a great venue, it’s really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the coolest places to get married in the Cotswolds. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the thatched barn on site at the venue. The barn was decorated with flowers and candles, which looked lovely. The ceremony was a celebrant led ceremony which included all the guests passing their rings around to warm them. It was a romantic occasion, full of nervous giggles and teary eyes.
After the ceremony, we had a confetti aisle just outside the barn, which was so much fun! The weather at this relaxed wedding was so sunny, it was a beautiful day.
The Reception at Blackwell Grange
The reception was held on the lawn outside of the main barn at Blackwell Grange. The venue is perfect for weddings because it has so many options, and it’s got such a romantic vibe, especially in the gardens when the golden sun is glowing.
For the reception, the couple had organised delicious drinks and canapés for their guests, and everyone said how amazing they were. Guests were then called for the toasts and the wedding breakfast, which was a three course meal which looked incredible and all of the guests said that it was delicious!
The Party
After the meal was finished, everyone got straight on the dancefloor, and the party got started. The DJ had all the best tunes. Dineo and Dan had their first song to one of my fav songs which was amazing!
The evening ended with the four of us sneaking off to get some gorgeous golden hour, which was just stunning, and everyone had a great time. The whole relaxed wedding was so laid back, from the romantic vows to the wonderful speeches, it was perfect!
