Betsy and Edward got married at Kings Oak Hotel, which is a lush venue close to Epping Forest in Essex with elaborate decor and an outdoor pool area! It was such a lovely occasion and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!
The ceremony
The ceremony was a beautiful service indoors under a floral covered alter. During the ceremony they read their own vows, which was really emotional and heartfelt.
They decorated the ceremony and reception area with elegant floral decor and candles, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at Kings Oak Hotel – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed.
After the ceremony
The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and an intimate reception with family and friends in the evening. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with an amazing cake cutting and a conga line.

Betsy wore a elegant off the shoulder style dress with an AMAZING train and Edward wore a smart blue suit and they looked really beautiful.
The couple got in touch with me this year, and their enquiry was so fun. They were finally getting married after 10 years of being together!! They said they wanted a relaxed photographer to fit in with their family and friends, and I loved that they just wanted to party.
