FUN DIGBETH WEDDING AT THE OLD LIBRARY IN BIRMINGHAM – ETIENNE AND OCHUKO

July 16, 2021

IF YOU LOVE FUN FUSION WEDDINGS THEN YOU’LL LOVE THIS DIGBETH WEDDING!

Etienne and Ochuko had their U.K. reception at the gorgeous The Old Library, Birmingham after getting married abroad. It was intimate fusion wedding, with so much colour and lots of cheery banter and even a quiz to keep guests entertained. These two met a few years ago and it was love at first sight, they’ve travelled the world, created amazing memories and explored before getting married abroad in August 2019!

Their U.K. reception was held in the main room of The Old Library. The venue is perfect for weddings because the light is gorgeous, and it’s got such an unusual vibe, especially at sunset when the golden sun is glowing through the skylight windows.

After some family formal photos and mingling, Ochuko got changed into her second dress of the evening and OMG it was stunning!! I’ve never seen such a gorgeous dress in my life.

For the reception, the couple had organised a super fun ‘who knows the couple best’ quiz for their guests, and everyone loved it. Guests were then called for dinner, which was an amazing mix of Nigerian and buffet style food – it was delicious.

After the cake cutting, they had their first dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran (A Classic!!!) Their first dance was full of cuddles and romantic spins which made even me well up! After their first dance, the dancefloor opened up and was packed all evening.

I loved this Birmingham fusion wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch.
